Ahmedabad, March 10: The 16th edition of the flagship annual show will feature over 250 residential, commercial, office space, plotting, and weekend villa projects by leading developers.  The 16th edition of Gujarat’s biggest property show ‘GIHED PROPERTY SHOW’ will take place in Ahmedabad from March 11 to 13.
The show has been organised by CREDAI AHMEDABAD, the representative of more than 1,100 real estate developers in the city. The 16th edition of the CREDAI-AHMEDABAD’S annual flagship event, featuring more than 250 RERA-approved real estate projects by over 60 leading developers of Ahmedabad, is taking place at Ganesh Ground, S.G. Highway, Thaltej, Ahmedabad.
Leading banks, housing finance companies, as well as allied industries, are also taking part in the property show. “Being organised since 2005, the annual GIHED PROPERTY SHOW has become the premier event of the real estate sector in and around Ahmedabad. GIHED Property Show is the largest Property at Gujarat. The 16th edition of the show will feature over 250 residential, commercial, office space, plotting, and weekend villa projects by leading developers across several locations and budgets. The show will be a one-stop-shop for those looking to buy property,” said Tejas Joshi, President, CREDAI  AHMEDABAD.
The Property Show will be inaugurated on March 11 at the hands of senior real estate developers, who played an important role in laying the Foundation of GIHED in 1980 and nurturing CREDAI AHMEDABAD as the umbrella organization of real estate developers. A Broker Meet has been organized as a part of the show at 11:00 am on March 12.
A Real Estate Urban Summit has also been organized at 4:00 pm on March 13 as a part of the 16th Property Show. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be the Chief Guest at the Urban Summit. Revenue minister Rajendra Trivedi and minister of state for urban development Vinod Moradiya will be the Guests of Honour. Other Ministers, M.P., MLA’s, Senior bureaucrats, Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) chairman, Ahmedabad district collector, Ahmedabad municipal commissioner, and Ahmedabad mayor will be among the visitors at the three-day Property Show.
“The GIHED PROPERTY SHOW offers buyers and investors multiple choices and is a great place to find a property that suits one’s budget and preference. We invite people of Ahmedabad to visit the show in large numbers to find their dream homes, offices, and other properties,” said Viral Shah, Honorary Secretary, CREDAI AHMEDABAD.
Ahead of the Real Estate Urban Summit, real estate projects entailing an investment of more than Rs. 1 lakh crore have been uploaded on the Gujarat government’s Vibrant Gujarat portal. This includes around 500 projects of Rs. 60,000 crore from Ahmedabad city, AUDA and GUDA limits, and Rs. 50,000 crore projects from other cities.
To fast track the GDCR, revenue, and environmental clearances for these projects, CREDAI AHMEDABAD GIHED will appeal to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to form a panel of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Urban development in the CMO, secretaries of urban development, revenue, and environment departments, Gujarat RERA Chairman, and representatives of CREDAI-Ahmedabad GIHED and CREDAI-Gujarat. The proposal is that the panel should meet once every three months for monitoring the progress and address issues that may be delaying the approvals. The association will also press for setting up separate committees in each of the state’s five zones for faster approvals.
“Faster approvals will increase the pace of development in Ahmedabad and other cities,” added Mr. Joshi.
