Surat-based Sahajanand Technologies Private Limited STPL and the Institute of Technology Nirma University (ITNU) sign an MoU

Surat/Ahmedabad, April 5: In a very significant move in the education sector, Surat-based global leading developer of industrial technology solutions Sahajanand Technologies Private Limited (STPL) and Institute of Technology Nirma University (ITNU) have signed an MoU to facilitate collaboration and exchange of knowledge between the two entities. Dr Rajesh N Patel, Director, Institute of Technology, Nirma University and Trinayan Jyoti Saikia, General Manager HR, Sahajanand Technologies Private Limited signed the MoU.

STPL has consistently been at the forefront of scientific technological advancements in the fields of industrial laser, diamond processing automation, medical technologies and additive manufacturing (3D printing). STPL’s laser-based solutions have completely revitalised India’s diamond processing industry. STPL is the pioneer and only company that offers advanced solutions for all the stages of diamond processing and its safe trading. In the field of medical technology, STPL has indigenously developed highly precise medical stents, a step that has made India self-sufficient in stents and thereby saving a large number of lives and lowering treatment costs. Similarly, STPL is guiding India towards the widespread adoption of additive manufacturing. The company has also brought global recognition to India. STPL has a sizable clientele across five continents and more than 30 nations.

The focus areas outlined in the MoU such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Additive Manufacturing, Automation, and Innovations are all cutting-edge technologies that have a significant impact on various industries today. It’s good to see that both STPL and ITNU are recognising the importance of these areas and are taking steps towards advancing research and development in these fields.

As per the MoU, STPL will provide support to ITNU in developing internship training programmes, placement, study tours, and industrial visits. These initiatives will help students and faculty gain wider exposure to real-world industry problems and challenges. It will also allow them to gain practical experience working with cutting-edge technologies and tools.

In addition, the MOU establishes a platform for collaborative research and technical projects between the two institutions, which will contribute to industry innovation. Students and faculty will benefit greatly from the guidance provided by STPL’s mentorship in their research and development endeavours.
