Mumbai, Dec 27: During Avartan, the flagship annual event of IIM Mumbai, the institute conferred its prestigious Srujan Puraskar on Prof. Chakradhar Saswade from the NID Bengaluru campus.
This landmark moment marked the launch of the esteemed award, established to recognize professional creativity and excellence in India, with Prof. Chakradhar becoming its first-ever recipient.
Prof. Chakradhar was honored for his outstanding contributions to logo design, including the iconic emblem of IIM Mumbai, which has become a cornerstone of the institute’s identity. The award celebrates his thoughtful and aesthetic approach to design, which continues to leave a lasting impact on institutional branding.
As part of the ceremony, Prof. Chakradhar delivered an inspiring presentation that highlighted his extensive portfolio. His work includes designing logos for notable institutions such as Yashobhoomi, IIT Tirupati, IIM Bodhgaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, and DICGC. The audience was captivated by his insights into the interplay between creativity, symbolism, and branding, emphasizing the critical role of design in shaping institutional identities.
