Ahmedabad, June 21: Bank of India marked the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on June 21, 2025, with vibrant participation across its national and international establishments.
Mass yoga demonstrations were held at all Zonal Offices, Field General Manager Offices, and various other centres in India and abroad. Bank staff and customers joined the sessions in large numbers, following the Government’s Common Yoga Protocol (CYP).
The central event at the Bank’s Head Office in BKC, Mumbai, was led by Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director and CEO. He was joined by Executive Directors, Chief General Managers, General Managers, and staff members, all actively participating in the yoga session. The demonstration was conducted by Kanchan Bhosale, a renowned yoga teacher from Mumbai.
In his address, Rajneesh Karnatak emphasized that yoga is much more than a physical exercise—it is a holistic practice that nurtures mental clarity, physical strength, and spiritual growth. He urged everyone to adopt yoga as a way of life and inspire others—family, friends, colleagues, and customers—to do the same. He highlighted how yoga, rooted in India’s ancient traditions, has become a global phenomenon due to its profound benefits.
He also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Government of India for their continued efforts in promoting yoga worldwide.
