Ahmedabad, June 21: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) honoured ten distinguished alumni under the age of 45 with the Young Alumni Achiever’s Awards 2025 (YAAA) for their exceptional accomplishments across Corporate Leadership, Social/Public Service, and Arts/Entertainment/Sports.

The ceremony, held on the IIMA campus, marked the 10th edition of the awards, which were instituted in 2015. The event was graced by Professor Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIMA, and Professor Sunil Maheshwari, Dean (Alumni and External Relations), and attended by students, faculty, staff, and members of the IIMA community.
Corporate Leadership: Driving Growth Across Sectors
Hemant Mundra (PGP 2014), Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, has led investments across diverse sectors and serves on the boards of multiple financial institutions. A gold medallist at both IIT Bombay and IIMA, he is also known for mentoring young finance professionals.
Saurabh Chandra (ePGP 2020), Partner at EY, has pioneered innovations in fintech and consulting. An inventor with eight patents, he is also an author and a national-level basketball player.

Rohan Suri (PGP 2010), Managing Director at KKR, has led over $6 billion in investments. A Chancellor’s Gold Medallist from BITS Pilani, Rohan has influenced major deals in companies like Reliance Retail and Jio Platforms.
Sudipto Sannigrahi (PGP 2016), Managing Director at Z47, is one of India’s youngest MDs in the VC space, driving investments in deep-tech and B2B commerce. He is also an academic collaborator and conference organiser.
Ashish Ashok Lakhotia (EEP 2018), CEO at ETG Input Holdco, leads a $1.5 billion agri-business across Africa and other continents. An advocate for sustainable farming, he is a former Chair of IFA’s Africa Forum.
Social/Public Service: Leadership for Social Impact
Ramyakumar Bhatt (ePGP 2022), Deputy Commissioner at Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, has been instrumental in urban transformation projects like Sabarmati Riverfront and Smart City initiatives. A technocrat, he has also mentored startups and represented India at UNESCO forums.
Chhavi Moodgal (PGP 2004), CEO of IIM Ahmedabad Endowment Fund, has transformed institutional fundraising at IIMA, raising ₹615+ crore in unrestricted funds. Recognised globally for her innovative leadership, she’s a changemaker in education philanthropy.
Arts, Entertainment & Sports: Celebrating Cultural Excellence
Aditi Krishnakumar (PGP 2007), award-winning author and mathematician, has published seven books and conducted research in graph theory. Her works have earned nominations across literary and science communities.
Anupama Muthukrishnan Devarajan (PGP 2006), a Carnatic vocalist and Bharatanatyam dancer, transitioned from investment banking to the arts. Founder of a fine arts academy in Mumbai, she is empanelled with AIR and Doordarshan and has received numerous cultural awards.
Ankur Garg (3TP 2010), co-founder of Luv Films, is a film producer behind several Bollywood hits. A former Microsoft professional, he also founded IFI Techsolutions and was recently honoured with Spain’s Cruz de la Orden del Mérito Civil.

With a global alumni base of 46,000, IIMA continues to uphold its legacy of producing impactful leaders across industries. The YAAA 2025 honorees reflect the institute’s ethos of excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. These awards not only honour individual achievement but also reinforce IIMA’s role in shaping leaders of the future.
