Chiripal Group and Radio Mirchi Launch 4th Edition of ‘Green Yodha’ Plantation Drive in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, July 11: The Chiripal Group, in collaboration with Radio Mirchi, kickstarted the 4th edition of the Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha Plantation Drive at GMDC Grounds near Alpha One Mall. Spearheaded by RJ Kavya of Radio Mirchi, the event witnessed spirited participation from Chiripal Group employees and was graced by the presence of Defence PRO, Wing Commander A.K. Tiwari.

Now in its fourth year, the Green Yodha initiative has evolved into a significant environmental movement, having successfully led to the plantation of over 1.5 lakh trees across Ahmedabad. What began as a corporate social responsibility campaign has grown into a city-wide call to action, encouraging students, professionals, and local communities to embrace a greener lifestyle.

Wing Commander A.K. Tiwari lauded the effort, stating, “Such initiatives are the need of the hour. It’s heartening to see private organisations taking responsibility for our environment and inspiring collective action.”

RJ Kavya, who energized the crowd and shared live updates, added, “Green Yodha is more than just planting trees—it’s about planting hope for a better tomorrow. Every sapling we plant today is a step toward a sustainable future.”
