In alignment with the government’s “Housing for All” mission under PMAY-Urban 2.0, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. The initiative recognized beneficiaries of the Interest Subsidy Scheme (ISS) and extended support to prospective homebuyers, furthering awareness of the government-backed housing program.

The event witnessed participation from over 1,100 subsidy beneficiaries alongside key dignitaries including Praveen Khullar, Zonal Sales Head at IIFL Home Finance, and Shyam Sunder, Assistant General Manager, National Housing Bank (NHB), among other senior officials.
Focused on outreach in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, IIFL HFL operates through a robust network of 370+ branches across India. The company has enabled over 1,100 customers nationwide to benefit from ISS under PMAY-U 2.0, facilitating a transition from informal housing to secure homeownership through simplified loans, faster processing, co-lending partnerships, and local engagement.

Subsidy certificates were presented to eligible customers during the Ahmedabad event, celebrating their progress toward formal homeownership and reinforcing IIFL HFL’s commitment to affordable housing.
Addressing the gathering, Praveen Khullar said, “Gujarat, and particularly Ahmedabad, continues to experience strong momentum in the affordable housing sector. Since 2017–18, over 4,600 housing projects have been launched in the city, with 35% falling under the affordable category. Our focus remains on supporting EWS and LIG households through credit facilitation, awareness drives, and doorstep services to bring homeownership within reach.”
NHB’s Shyam Sunder highlighted the broader impact of such initiatives, stating, “This workshop is part of IIFL HFL’s nationwide campaign to drive awareness of PMAY-U 2.0. The company remains a key player in India’s affordable housing ecosystem, contributing at the grassroots level.”
Similar workshops are planned across key states including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Rajasthan, targeting outreach to economically weaker and low-income households.
