A stirring motivational talk on “Joining the Indian Army” was held at the NCC Headquarters, Law Garden, Ahmedabad, igniting patriotic fervour among young cadets.
Organised by the Army Recruitment Office, Ahmedabad, the session aimed to inspire NCC cadets to pursue a career in the Indian Armed Forces, especially the Indian Army.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of over 317 cadets from both Senior and Junior Divisions, all eager to learn about the life and opportunities that come with serving the nation in uniform. The keynote speaker described the Indian Army not merely as a profession, but as a transformative journey rooted in values such as duty, integrity, loyalty, and courage.
Highlighting the evolution of a soldier—from an energetic youth to a national protector and role model—the talk also outlined various entry pathways available to NCC cadets. With a focus on the advantages their NCC training offers, cadets were encouraged to leverage their leadership, discipline, and physical fitness to pursue a career in the Army.
An engaging Q&A session followed, with cadets posing insightful questions about army life, preparation strategies, and the recruitment process. The speaker responded candidly, sharing practical tips and inspiring anecdotes from real-life military experiences.

The event concluded with an electrifying chant of ‘JAI HIND’ and the recitation of the NCC pledge, reinforcing the cadets’ commitment to national service—whether in uniform or civilian life.
