The much-awaited Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) — Gujarat’s largest travel trade show — opened with grandeur today at the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar. Over 900 exhibitors from across India and 30+ countries are showcasing their travel products, making it one of the most expansive editions in TTF history.
The three-day event, exclusive to B2B visitors, arrives just ahead of the Diwali and winter holiday season — a crucial booking period for the travel industry. More than 12,500 industry professionals are expected to attend, with deals and partnerships actively being inked on the show floor.
Star-Studded Inauguration Ceremony
The opening was graced by dignitaries including Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, and Mulubhai Bera, Gujarat’s Tourism Minister. They were joined by a powerhouse of senior bureaucrats and tourism leaders from both states, reflecting the national significance of the event.
A Powerhouse Platform for Global and Domestic Tourism
This year, TTF Ahmedabad has brought together tourism boards from 25+ Indian states and UTs, including Kerala, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, J&K, Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Assam. Leading private exhibitors such as Wyndham Hotel Group, Royal Orchid Hotels, Travel Nexus, Holiday Mechanic, and Trulyy India Hotels & Resorts are unveiling their latest offerings.
Among international highlights, Sri Lanka Tourism has made a powerful post-pandemic comeback with a large delegation, seeking to reconnect with the booming Gujarat travel market.
“This edition of TTF Ahmedabad reflects India’s growing influence in domestic and outbound travel,” said Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman & CEO of Fairfest Media, the organiser of the TTF series. “With a 20% increase in expected visitors, the event is poised to generate exceptional business outcomes.”
Gujarat: A Travel Powerhouse
According to the latest NCAER report, Gujarat contributes 15.4% to India’s tourism output, with Gujarati travellers making up 8% of the domestic travel pie and as much as 30–40% of India’s outbound travel — reaffirming Ahmedabad’s strategic importance for tourism marketers.
Why TTF Matters
Spanning four massive halls, TTF Ahmedabad 2025 is a critical platform for strategic networking, B2B partnerships, and business growth. Exhibitors and buyers alike are engaging in meaningful dialogues to shape the future of travel amid global shifts and opportunities.
