Gujarat Govt Approves IAS Study Centres in 10 Cities; Admissions Open Till September 15

The Gujarat Government has announced the establishment of IAS (Indian Administrative Service) study centres across 10 cities, seven universities, and three government colleges, offering free coaching to aspirants preparing for UPSC/GPSC examinations.

Each centre will have 100 seats, taking the total capacity to 1,000 students. Admission will be based on a common entrance examination of 200 marks, with registration open until September 15 at a fee of ₹300. Applicants must be graduates from a Gujarat-based university or residents of the state, aged between 20 and 32 years. Category candidates will receive age relaxations, while 3% of seats are reserved for Divyang candidates.

Although no tuition fee will be charged, students must deposit a refundable amount of ₹2,500. A minimum 75% attendance will be compulsory. Merit lists will be prepared based on the entrance exam results.

  • Gujarat Arts and Science College, Ahmedabad
  • M.N. College, Visnagar
  • Government Commerce College, Gandhinagar
