Ahmedabad: Navratri in Ahmedabad is set to dazzle with Saiyar 2025, a mega Garba festival blending tradition with modern vibrancy. Organized by Mantra Events and Dvija Events, the celebration will be held from September 21 to October 1 at the Ahmedabad Cricket Center on SP Ring Road, across a sprawling 1,40,000 sq. ft. ground.
The event, managed by noted Garba organizers Ronak Makwana and Devanshu Vasava, promises an immersive cultural experience under the theme of “where nights turn into festivals and festivals into memories.” Elegant décor inspired by rustic village vibes, colorful traditional aesthetics, modern lighting, folk art, and specially designed photo spots will create a festive atmosphere for over 10,000 Garba lovers each night.
Every evening from 7:30 PM to 12:30 midnight, Garba will be followed by Mandali Garba, enlivened by dhol and shehnai beats. Renowned artists will headline the celebration, including Osman Mir, Amir Mir, Aghori Muzik, Pooja Kalyani, Shivam Barot, Piyush Gadhvi, Sita Rabari, Narendra Rao and Kirti Rao, Priti Patel, and Anita Rana.
Organizers emphasized safety as a top priority, with arrangements made in coordination with traffic, fire, and police departments. CCTV surveillance, security checks, medical teams, ample parking, and emergency exits have been planned for smooth operations.
Along with dance and music, Saiyar 2025 will showcase food, fashion, and cultural elements reflecting Ahmedabad’s identity while also engaging the youth. The event aims to promote Gujarati music and culture, celebrating Garba not just as a dance form but as a symbol of community and festivity.
