To commemorate the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bharatiya Vichar Manch, in association with Bharat Shodh Sansthan, is organizing a grand Lecture Series, Exhibition, and Multimedia Show on the theme “RSS: A Century of Leadership – Direction and Role.” The event will be held from November 11 to 14, 2025, at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre, Memnagar, Ahmedabad.
Addressing the media, Ishan Joshi, General Secretary of Bharatiya Vichar Manch, announced that the inauguration of the Exhibition and Multimedia Show will take place on November 11 at 5:30 PM in the presence of the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel. The ceremony will also be attended by senior RSS thinkers, representatives from Pragna Pravah and Bharatiya Vichar Manch, along with eminent personalities from academic, cultural, and social spheres.
Dr. Neerja A. Gupta the Vice Chancellor of Gujarat University was also present at the press conference held on Saturday.
Lecture Series by Eminent Thinkers
The Lecture Series will feature discourses by distinguished national thinkers and senior RSS leaders including Dr. Krishna Gopal, C. R. Mukund, Atul Limaye, and Alok Kumar. They will deliberate on the Sangh’s ideological evolution and leadership journey—from its founder Dr. K. B. Hedgewar to the present Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat—tracing the RSS’s contribution to national life and thought.
Exhibition and Multimedia Experience
The “RSS: A Century of Leadership” Exhibition will present rare documents, photographs, and archives showcasing the Sangh’s century-long journey, including its association with national figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, and Kanhaiyalal Munshi.
An immersive Multimedia Show will visually depict the organization’s nation-building initiatives and its expanding global influence through a blend of sound, visuals, and narration.
Special Commemorative Coin
Marking the historic milestone, the India Government Mint, Mumbai, will set up a special sales counter offering a limited-edition commemorative coin titled “100 Years of RSS.” The organizers noted that this will be a rare opportunity for citizens and collectors to own a symbolic piece of history.
Invitation to Citizens
“The Centenary of the RSS is not merely a celebration of an organization but a reflection on a century of values, leadership, and service,” said Ishan Joshi. “Through this event, we aim to reignite intellectual and cultural consciousness among citizens.”
The Exhibition, Multimedia Show, and Lecture Series will be open to visitors from 5:00 PM on November 11, and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily on November 12, 13, and 14, 2025.
