- Ahmedabad, November 2025:
A free educational seminar aimed at guiding students aspiring to study in Europe — especially in the Czech Republic — was held at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA). The session focused on creating awareness among students and parents about affordable, high-quality higher education options, career prospects, and the wide-ranging advantages of global exposure.
Representatives from European institutions provided first-hand guidance on admission procedures, academic choices, campus life, accommodation, and long-term career pathways. The seminar featured insights from Bhavik Siddhpura (The Visa Man), Director – First Step Overseas, Krejci Milos, Head of School – School of Business, Prague, and Krish Mishra, Admission Representative.
A key highlight of the event was the spotlight on the Czech Republic as an increasingly attractive destination for Indian students. The country offers numerous advantages, including admissions without IELTS, affordable annual fees of Rs. 2–4 lakh, low living costs, 40 hours per week part-time work options, spouse visa possibilities, acceptance of academic gaps, and a high visa success rate. Graduates also benefit from post-study work permits of 1–4 years and the chance to pursue Permanent Residency (PR), making the destination ideal for long-term career development.
Explaining why Ahmedabad was chosen as a key outreach location, Bhavik Siddhpura said, “Ahmedabad has consistently shown strong interest in overseas education for nearly a decade. The city has many inspiring success stories of students who have built their futures in Europe, and their referrals encourage new aspirants. This seminar ensures students receive accurate guidance and trusted information.”
Sharing the European perspective, Krejci Milos highlighted, “The Czech Republic is renowned for its quality education, modern infrastructure and strong industry connect. Indian students are disciplined and practical, performing exceptionally well. We look forward to welcoming more Indian learners to our institutions.”
Offering insights on course trends, Krish Mishra added, “Students from Gujarat typically opt for IT, Engineering, Business, Healthcare and Hospitality. Strong candidates may also qualify for scholarships and student exchange programmes across the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. This seminar helps students choose the most suitable academic path.”
Around 12 students, graduates and working professionals attended the event, many of whom interacted directly with students and families currently living in Europe to understand real-life experiences.
The seminar concluded with an encouraging message: this initiative marks a meaningful step in opening global career pathways for Ahmedabad’s youth and empowering them to make informed decisions for a successful international future.
