The Hinduja family and close associates organised a prayer meeting in Mumbai on December 16 to honour the memory of Gopichand P. Hinduja, former Chairman of the Hinduja Group, who recently passed away.
The solemn gathering was attended by prominent leaders from India Inc, senior political figures cutting across party lines, members of the diplomatic corps, and several well-known personalities from the film industry.
Spiritual leader Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Parmarth Niketan, along with close associates and well-wishers, paid heartfelt tributes, recalling Shri GP Hinduja’s visionary leadership, humility and multifaceted personality.
Adding a devotional note to the evening, renowned singers Anuradha Paudwal, Nitin Mukesh and Mohit Lalwani rendered bhajans and songs that were among GP Hinduja’s favourites, including melodies picturised on his close friend, the late Raj Kapoor.
The prayer meeting served as a moment of reflection and remembrance, celebrating the life and legacy of one of India’s most respected business leaders.
