AMA Launches Advanced Diploma in Film Production and Management

The Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), under the Roopa and Anand Pandit – AMA Centre for Film Production Management, launched its Advanced Diploma in Film Production and Management and hosted an engaging panel discussion titled “Changing the Scenario of the Gujarati Film Industry: Success Story of Movie Laalo — Krishna Sada Sahaayate” at the AMA campus.
The panel featured the core creative team of the Gujarati film Laalo — Krishna Sada Sahaayate, including Ankit Sakhiya (director), Ajay Padariya (producer), Shruhad Goswami (actor, role of Krishna), Karan Joshi (actor, role of Lalji), and Reeva Rachh (actress, role of Tulsi). Ajay Singh Chudasama, chairman of R WORLD Multiplexes and a veteran of the exhibition sector, offered a broader industry perspective. The session was moderated by Savan Godiawala, past president of AMA.
The discussion focused on the evolving landscape of the Gujarati film industry, highlighting how strong storytelling, efficient production management, and audience connection contributed to the success of Laalo — Krishna Sada Sahaayate.
The Advanced Diploma in Film Production and Management, developed by AMA as a career-oriented and skill-based programme, is designed by film industry experts and aligned with contemporary practices. The six-month course aims to bridge the gap between creative vision and the business of cinema, offering practical exposure to production workflows and management processes.
The course will commence on January 17, 2026, with classes held at the AMA campus twice a week—on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The curriculum emphasises hands-on learning, combining real-world industry experience with current market trends to prepare aspiring professionals for careers in film production and management.
