Star Plus turned the skies of Gujarat into a canvas of romance and celebration with the grand launch of Love Utsav on January 15 — a month-long ode to love, warmth, and togetherness that beautifully blends storytelling with culture.

Renowned for redefining entertainment through emotionally rich and path-breaking narratives, Star Plus once again stepped beyond the screen this Uttarayan. Timed perfectly with the second day of the festival and exactly a month before Valentine’s Day, Love Utsav transformed Gujarat’s streets, skies, and hearts into living chapters of its iconic love stories.

The vibrant launch event sparkled with the presence of some of the channel’s most beloved faces. Anupama, the heart of millions, was present in her absence as she took center stage alongside Raj and Raushni, the leads of the upcoming show Tod Kar Dil Mera. Adding a special local connect was celebrated actress and singer Manasi Parekh, while the lively proceedings were seamlessly anchored by Maulik Chauhan.

In a moment that perfectly captured the spirit of Love Utsav, Anupama scheduled for  inaugurating the celebrations was not present but the team did it  by flying a shimmering golden kite, symbolising hope, love, and new beginnings. Raj and Raushni followed suit, sending vibrant red kites soaring high — a visual metaphor for passion and romance taking flight. Manasi Parekh, acting as a cultural bridge between Star Plus and Gujarat, warmly introduced Love Utsav to the audience, grounding the celebration in local pride and tradition.

The festivities continued with a culturally rich press conference and an immersive Gujarati experience. From cheerful kite-flying sessions to an intimate Undhiyu gathering, every moment echoed warmth, nostalgia, and festive joy.

As the weeks unfold, Love Utsav will travel across cities with heartfelt on-ground experiences, building anticipation toward a special Valentine’s Week finale. With this initiative, Star Plus goes beyond narrating stories of love — it lets love soar in the skies, live in conversations, and quietly weave itself into everyday memories.
