Fruit Chaat (Refreshing Iftaari Bowl)

1 cup apples (chopped)

1 cup bananas (sliced)

1 cup papaya or mango cubes

½ cup pomegranate seeds
-
1–2 tbsp orange or lemon juice
-
1 tsp chaat masala
-
Pinch of black salt
-
Mint leaves for garnish
Steps

Combine all chopped fruits in a bowl.

Add lemon/orange juice, chaat masala, and black salt.

Mix gently so fruits don’t become mushy.

Garnish with mint leaves and chill for 15–20 minutes before serving.
Tip: Add soaked raisins or dates for extra energy during fasting.
Chicken Pakora (Crispy Iftaari Snack)

250 g boneless chicken (small pieces)
-
½ cup gram flour (besan)
-
2 tbsp rice flour (for crispiness)
-
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
-
½ tsp turmeric
-
1 tsp red chilli powder
-
1 tsp garam masala
-
Salt to taste
-
Water as needed
-
Oil for deep frying
Steps

Mix chicken with ginger-garlic paste, spices, salt, and flours.

Add a little water to coat the chicken (thick batter).

Heat oil and drop small coated chicken pieces.

Fry until golden and crispy.
-
Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
