On the occasion of Management Day, the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) organized the Innovation Conference 2026 centered on the theme “Transforming for Tomorrow: Growth with Resilience.” The event convened distinguished industry leaders, academicians, sustainability experts, and technology pioneers to deliberate on the rapidly evolving global management and innovation landscape.
Delivering the inaugural address, Achal Bakeri, Past President of AMA and Chairman & Managing Director of Symphony Limited, underscored that innovation and resilience must go hand in hand for organizations striving to succeed in today’s volatile global economy. He emphasized that businesses must proactively adapt to disruption to remain competitive.
The special address was delivered by Parth Devariya, AI & Technology Consultant and Founder & CEO of GFuture Tech Pvt. Ltd., who shared practical insights on harnessing emerging technologies to drive sustainable growth and build competitive advantage.
A thought-provoking panel discussion on “ESG & Sustainability: Innovating for Sustainable and Responsible Growth” featured CA Vivek Shah (Senior Partner, Ramanlal G. Shah & Co.), Ankit Kapasi (Lead – Sustainability Services, dss+), Snehal Jariwala (MD & CEO, NEPRA Environmental Solutions Technologies), and Ritika Goenka (Founder, Planetary Plus). Moderated by Anjanee Patel (Senior Sustainability Consultant, Savvy Greens), the session highlighted how Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks are increasingly becoming central to corporate strategy and long-term value creation.
The session on “AI & Digital Innovation: Driving Innovation through AI and Digital Technologies” featured Kiran Nair (Chief Digital Officer, Adani Renewables Green) and Bhavesh Nainani (General Manager – Information Technology, Zydus Group), with moderation by Anuja Parikh (CEO, Intech Systems Pvt. Ltd.). The experts discussed how AI and digital transformation are enhancing operational efficiencies and unlocking new growth opportunities, particularly in green energy and healthcare sectors.
Addressing the theme “Innovation in Education Sector: Transforming Education for Future Skills,” the panel included Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Srivastava (Vice Chancellor, KN University, Ahmedabad), Archit Bhatt (Managing Director, Tripada Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), Dr. Sonal Pandya (Professor & Head, Department of Communication and Journalism, Gujarat University), and Dr. Vishal Dahiya (Professor & Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University). The session was moderated by Dr. CA Achyut Dani (Director General & Provost, JG University). Panelists stressed the urgent need to redesign curricula to equip students with future-ready skills aligned with industry demands.
Another engaging discussion on “Innovation in Sports: Technology, Performance, and the Business of Sports” featured Dr. Jatin Soni (Former Vice Chancellor, Swarnim Gujarat Sports University and DPES Saurashtra University), Dr. Pritesh Shukla (Registrar, TransStadia University), and Nirav Shukla (CEO & Founder, Fame IT Consultancy; Digital & Media Head – Freelance, International Cricket League Teams), moderated by Krunal Shah (Manager, Elixir Foundation). The panel highlighted the growing professionalization of the sports industry and the transformative role of technology in performance and business strategy.
The conference concluded with an inspiring valedictory address by Positive Paaji (Kuldipsingh Kaler), renowned entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and author. His address focused on cultivating a resilient mindset to navigate change and uncertainty, leaving attendees with a message of optimism, determination, and forward-thinking leadership.
