Renowned Poet Shailesh Lodha to Headline Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav in Ahmedabad

A grand and spiritually enriching celebration of Shri Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav will be held in Ahmedabad on March 30, 2026. The event is being organized by the Bharatvarshiya Teerthakshetra Committee, Gujarat, and promises an evening filled with devotion, culture, and entertainment.

The कार्यक्रम will begin at 7:00 PM at the Kundalpur Nagari Auditorium Hall. Key details were shared by Chairman Paras Jain Baj, Vice President Rajeshbhai Shah, General Secretary Rishabhkumar Jain, along with coordinators Nareshbhai Shah and Ratanbhai Patni. Patron Shobhag Mal Ji Kataria also shared important insights about the celebration.

The highlight of the evening will be a special Kavi Sammelan featuring renowned poet Shailesh Lodha, who will perform in his signature style. He will be joined by humorist Govind Rathi and international satirist Chetan Charchit. Adding a musical dimension to the event, Vaibhav Bagmar will present a devotional Jain concert blending spirituality with music.

The Mahotsav will also showcase a grand depiction of the royal court of Maharaja Siddharth and Mata Trishala, along with symbolic representations of kings and queens from 24 empires. Devotees will experience divine moments such as the ceremonial arrival of Lord Mahavir, the sacred cradle ritual, and a grand Maha Aarti—central highlights of faith and devotion.

The event will be graced by Chief Guest Monaben Khandhar, Principal Secretary (IAS). The organizing committee has warmly invited the Jain community of Ahmedabad and all devotees to participate in this magnificent and spiritual celebration.
