Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals has expanded its footprint in Gujarat through a strategic partnership with SRG Eye Hospital, reinforcing its position as the state’s largest corporate eye care provider.
The integration combines Maxivision’s scalable, technology-driven healthcare model with SRG’s strong regional expertise and clinical legacy. SRG Eye Hospital has treated over 15 lakh patients and performed more than 1.2 lakh surgeries to date, while the broader Maxivision network has served over 60 lakh patients and conducted upwards of 8 lakh surgeries across India.
As part of this expansion, Maxivision has launched a new comprehensive eye care centre in Ambawadi, Ahmedabad. The facility is equipped with advanced infrastructure, experienced clinical teams, and technology-enabled treatment protocols to address the growing demand for specialised ophthalmic care in the region.
The group has also introduced the latest version of the Catalys Precision Laser System in Ahmedabad, enhancing cataract surgery through improved precision, automation, and advanced 3D imaging—bringing world-class treatment closer to patients locally.
Commenting on the expansion, Dr. G. S. K. Velu said,“Maxivision’s growth journey has been defined by our ability to build scale while maintaining clinical excellence with advanced technology and accessibility. Gujarat continues to be a key focus market for us, contributing approximately 20% to our overall revenues, and we are targeting a growth of 20–25% CAGR over the next five years in the region.”
Dr. Sanjay Gandhi added, “SRG Eye Hospital has consistently focused on delivering trusted, patient-centric eye care, serving over 42,000 patients annually and performing approximately 5,000 surgeries each year. He further noted, “We expect this partnership to drive significant growth in patient volumes while enabling us to deliver more comprehensive and technology-enabled care.
