Gujarat Technological University successfully organized the “Gujarat State Vice Chancellors’ Conclave – 2026” on May 5, 2026, with the support of Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University and Veer Narmad South Gujarat University at its Ahmedabad campus.
The conclave witnessed the participation of Vice Chancellors, Registrars, and representatives from around nine state universities across Gujarat. The discussions focused on important issues related to higher education, including the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, innovative initiatives undertaken by universities, and the newly introduced binary accreditation system by NAAC.
The primary objective of the conclave was to strengthen coordination and collaboration among universities in the state and to provide new direction and momentum to Gujarat’s higher education sector. The dignitaries present at the event expressed their commitment to working collectively for the advancement of higher education and emphasized the importance of continuing such interactive platforms in the future.
