Delicate flavours of rose, cardamom, honey, and lemon come together in these elegant desserts perfect for summer evenings and healthy indulgence.
Rose Cardamom Phirni
Ingredients
- ½ cup soaked rice
- 1 litre milk
- 4 tbsp sugar or jaggery
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp rose water
- Chopped pistachios and almonds
- Few rose petals for garnish
Method
- Grind soaked rice into a coarse paste.
- Boil milk and slowly add the rice paste while stirring continuously.
- Cook on low flame until thick and creamy.
- Add sugar, cardamom, and rose water.
- Chill in clay bowls and garnish with nuts and rose petals.

Honey Lemon Yogurt Mousse
Ingredients
- 1 cup thick yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves
- Seasonal fruits for topping
Method
- Whisk yogurt until smooth and creamy.
- Add honey, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Serve chilled with fruits and mint leaves on top.
