Umiya Mataji Sansthan, Sola has announced the development of a grand Umiya Mataji Temple, state-of-the-art boys’ and girls’ hostel buildings, and a modern party plot facility aimed at serving the social, educational and spiritual needs of the community.
Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included Sansthan President Babubhai J. Patel (BJP), Vice President Rameshbhai Dudhwala, Minister Jayatibhai Patel, Joint Secretary Mukeshbhai Badu, Trustee C.K. Patel, Sola Campus Chairman P.C. Patel, Vice Chairman Pravin Patel (Ghatlodia), Coordinator Suresh Patel, Treasurer Hasmukh Patel, Organization President Pravinbhai, and Construction Committee Chairman I.C. Patel.
Speaking on the occasion, President Babubhai J. Patel said that the upcoming Umiya Mataji Temple at the Sola campus would stand as a remarkable example of traditional architectural excellence. The temple is being constructed entirely in the Nagar style and notably without the use of iron. Instead, nearly 2 lakh cubic feet of pink sandstone from Bansipahadpur is being used in its construction.
The temple will measure approximately 255 feet in length, 160 feet in width and 132 feet in height. It will feature 92 intricately designed pillars and a spacious sanctum capable of accommodating nearly 500 devotees at a time for darshan. Keeping accessibility in mind, two lifts are also being installed for the convenience of senior citizens and differently-abled devotees.
Trustee C.K. Patel highlighted the institution’s focus on education and student welfare through the near-completion of modern hostel facilities for boys and girls. The twin hostel complexes, comprising two basements, a ground floor and 13 floors, together span a total built-up area of 4,33,914 sq. ft.
The hostel facilities will include 400 rooms — 208 for girls and 192 for boys — with accommodation capacity for 1,600 students, including 932 girls and 768 boys. Separate modern kitchens and dining halls with seating arrangements for all students have also been planned.
To support academic excellence and overall development, the campus will feature three e-libraries, including two for girls and one for boys, along with two modern gymnasiums. The Umiya Career Development Council (UCDC) will also function from the campus to guide students preparing for competitive examinations such as UPSC and GPSC.
Additional high-tech amenities at the hostels include eight high-speed lifts, laundry and housekeeping services, furnished rooms, 24-hour hot water supply, mineral water facilities, guest waiting areas, and spacious basement parking for 200 cars and 100 scooters.
Online admissions for the hostel facilities are currently underway. The annual fee for Non-AC rooms has been fixed at Rs. 65,000, while AC rooms will cost Rs. 85,000 annually.
The Sansthan has also developed a well-equipped Umiya Party Plot designed for hosting social and auspicious occasions. Spread across a lush green lawn area of 40,000 sq. ft., the venue can accommodate nearly 2,000 guests at a time.
The party plot also includes extensive parking facilities, a 1,760 sq. ft. office and room area, two special air-conditioned bridal suites, a 2,575 sq. ft. kitchen and storeroom, and a spacious 1,710 sq. ft. washroom facility equipped with modern amenities.
