Gujarati Film “DAMRU” Set for Theatrical Release on October 23

Gujarati cinema is gearing up for the theatrical release of “DAMRU” on October 23, 2026, promising audiences a refreshing family entertainer that combines comedy, suspense, emotion and a meaningful social message.

Produced by Ramesh Prajapati, Krupa Soni and Sanjay Soni under the banners of Gujotsav Production and Vraj Films, the film is directed by Hardik J. Pareekh and written by Rushikesh Thakkar and Nirav Joshi.

The film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Goradia, Nakshraaj, Nirav Mukesh Vaidya, Nirali Oza, Saurabh Rajyaguru, Maulik Chauhan, Hemang Dave, Sanjay Galsar, Bhargav Parmar, Makrand Shukla, Vishal Vaishya, Nischay Rana, Nishithkumar Bhrambhatt, Annapurna Shukla, Arati Soni and Satish Bhatt.

Adding to the film’s promotional campaign is a high-energy song composed by acclaimed music director Parth Bharat Thakkar, with vocals by Bhoomi Trivedi and Jaysinh Gadhavi. The song has been directed and choreographed by Prince Gupta, with cinematography by Suraj Kurade.

 

The film’s main cinematography is handled by Dhruv Panchal, while Darshan Shah of Treehouse Studio has composed the original soundtrack and background score. Ravish Jain serves as the production manager.

Ahead of the theatrical release, the makers have planned an exclusive song launch event in Ahmedabad. The programme will begin with the film’s team seeking blessings at a local temple before the promotional celebrations.

With its mix of humour, suspense, emotional moments and family values, DAMRU aims to offer an entertaining cinematic experience for audiences across generations, from children to senior citizens, when it releases in cinemas nationwide on October 23.
