Nine sporting disciplines across 10 teams

Chiripal Group has launched the third edition of Chiripal Spark 2026, its annual sporting initiative that brings together more than 600 employees from 33 Group entities for a month-long programme centred on competition, teamwork and employee engagement. The event began on September 5 and is being conducted across 10 teams.
Basketball and Football Make Their Debut
This year’s edition is being held under the theme “PLAY. PERFORM. PERSEVERE.” and features nine sporting disciplines — badminton, carrom, chess, running, table tennis, basketball, box cricket, football and volleyball.
Basketball and football have been introduced for the first time this year, adding two new team-based sports to the annual event.
Competitions Across Ahmedabad
The sporting activities are being conducted at Ahmedabad Racquet Academy, Shanti Asiatic School and Ahmedabad Sports Academy, with the venues hosting competitions across different disciplines.
Badminton opened the sporting calendar on September 5, while competitions in the remaining disciplines are continuing through September. Employees from different Group businesses and functions are participating as members of their respective teams.
Ronak Chiripal Highlights Team Spirit
Ronak Chiripal, Promoter, Chiripal Group, said the sporting event is intended to bring employees together and create opportunities to compete, collaborate and connect beyond their regular professional roles.
He said the theme “Play. Perform. Persevere.” reflects the energy, determination and team spirit that employees bring to their work and participation in the Group’s activities.
Focus on Participation and Collaboration
The 10-team format adds a competitive element to the month-long programme, with employees taking part in both individual and team disciplines while supporting their respective teams.
Now in its third edition, Chiripal Spark continues to serve as an employee engagement initiative focused on participation, wellbeing and collaboration, while providing employees from different Group businesses an opportunity to interact through sport.
