IIM Ahmedabad Conducts Second Cluster of Summer Placements for PGP Class of 2028

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) conducted the second cluster of its Summer Placement Process for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2028 on October 27, 2026, featuring recruiters from nine industry cohorts and offering more than 75 roles.
The participating sectors included advertising and media, conglomerates, consumer goods, consumer services, fashion, financial platforms and services, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, real estate, and retail B2B and e-commerce.
The placement process was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing recruiters to participate both online and in person.
Several leading business groups participated in the conglomerates cohort, including the Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, Mahindra Group, Tata Administrative Services, Vedanta Group, Essar Group, GMR Group and Saint-Gobain, among others.
The consumer goods cohort featured prominent companies such as Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Dabur, The Coca-Cola Company, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Berger Paints, AB InBev, Purplle and Wipro Consumer Care. Kwality Wall’s, Mars, Mondelez, Reckitt and Yum! joined the process as new or returning recruiters.
In the financial platforms and services segment, Bloomberg, FinIQ and Indxx were among the key recruiters. Endemol Shine and JioStar participated in the advertising and media cohort, while Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, FDC Limited and Medtronic India represented the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector.
Amazon and Myntra were among the prominent recruiters in retail B2B and e-commerce, while Airtel participated in the consumer services cohort.
This year’s placement process also introduced two new cohorts. Raymond featured in the fashion segment, while Eden Landmarks and Experion Developers represented the real estate sector.
The third cluster of IIMA’s Summer Placement Process is scheduled for October 30, 2026.
