Supreme Court Clears Allegations; Vantara Reaffirms Commitment to Animal Welfare

Ahmedabad: New Delhi, September 16, 2025: Team Vantara has welcomed the findings of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), appointed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, which has given a clean chit to the organisation in connection with allegations against its animal welfare mission.

In a statement, Vantara said it received the Apex Court’s order with “utmost humility and gratitude,” noting that the SIT’s report had established that the doubts and allegations raised earlier were “without any basis.”

“The validation of the truth by the distinguished and widely respected members of the SIT is not just a relief for everyone at Vantara but also a blessing, because it allows our work to speak for itself,” the organisation said.

Reiterating its commitment to compassion-driven animal care, Vantara added: “Every animal we rescue, every bird we heal, every life we save is a reminder that their well-being is not separate from our own — it is an inseparable part of the well-being of all humanity.”

The statement further pledged solidarity with the Government of India, state governments, and stakeholders in the task of animal care, assuring that Vantara “will always be ready to work in close collaboration” to make Mother Earth a better place for all living beings.
