Swarrnim University Empowers Students with Real-World Insights in ‘Professionalism Beyond Books’ Session

The Training and Placement Department of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University organised an engaging session titled “Professionalism Beyond Books” to help first-year students and faculty members understand how to navigate and excel in today’s dynamic corporate environment.

The interactive session was conducted by Monica Srivastava, Head of HR at Pronix Tech LLP, who drew from her rich industry experience to explain how true professionalism extends far beyond academic achievements. She highlighted the essential role of accountability, emotional intelligence, ethics, and self-discipline in shaping one’s professional identity.

Srivastava also underscored the importance of effective communication, adaptability, and personal grooming, encouraging students to cultivate soft skills that complement their technical knowledge. Through relatable examples, she demonstrated how a positive attitude and interpersonal finesse can significantly influence long-term career success.

The session witnessed the participation of around 95 students and faculty members, who actively engaged in discussions and shared their reflections.
