Cosco Gujarat State Sub-Junior Table Tennis Tournament 2025 Gets Underway in Gandhidham
Top U-15 paddlers from across Gujarat compete for ₹64,000 prize money at state-level event organised by KDTTA

The Kachchh District Table Tennis Association, under the aegis of the Gujarat State Table Tennis Association, is organising the Cosco Gujarat State Prize Money Table Tennis Tournament 2025 for Sub Junior (Under-15) players on December 27 and 28 at the Late M. P. Mittra Indoor Stadium, Haresh Sangtani Sports Complex, Naranpura, Gandhidham. The prestigious state-level tournament is being held in the fond memory of Late Shri Mahesh Nauratmal Gupta of the Rishi Kiran Group, honouring his significant contribution and encouragement towards the development of sports.
The tournament features a high-quality field, with the top eight players of Gujarat in both boys’ and girls’ categories specially invited to participate. A total prize money of ₹64,000 has been announced, with all top eight finishers in each category assured of prize money, providing strong motivation to emerging sub-junior talent across the state.
This is the second consecutive year that the event is being organised by the Kachchh District Table Tennis Association, reflecting its sustained efforts to nurture and promote table tennis in Gujarat. Day one of the tournament saw keenly contested group-stage matches, as young paddlers competed intensely for places in the knockout rounds.
Top seed Dev Bhatt of Rajkot and Dwij Bhalodia of Ahmedabad are among the leading contenders in the boys’ category, while Fiza Pawar of Ahmedabad and Dhimahi Kabrawal of Surat are considered strong challengers in the girls’ section. Local favourite Dhruv Bhambani has also added to the excitement with his participation.
All matches are being played using STIGA equipment, ensuring international-standard playing conditions for the young athletes.
