CEPT University invites applications from eligible candidates to its undergraduate programs in Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Design.

As India’s infrastructure demand is projected to reach nearly $4.5 trillion by 2040, and cities continue to expand in complexity, the need for interdisciplinary, future-ready professionals has never been more urgent. CEPT University’s undergraduate programs are uniquely positioned to address this need through a studio-based, practice-oriented approach to learning.

CEPT University’s Bachelor’s in Architecture (B.Arch), a six-decade-old program, is internationally recognised for its studio-centric pedagogy and distinguished alumni network. The program fosters independent thinking and design excellence through immersive studio environments, complemented by courses in technology, history, and theory. With opportunities for international exchange, study tours, and elective-driven learning, students are equipped to engage with global architectural practices and research ecosystems.

The Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Honours) (BCE), offered by the University’s Faculty of Technology, stands out as the only engineering program in India structured around a studio-based pedagogy. The program emphasises hands-on, collaborative learning, enabling students to engage with real-world engineering challenges while working across disciplines such as architecture, planning, design, and management. With strong industry integration, international exchange opportunities, and a network of over 1,500 alumni, the program prepares graduates for diverse roles in construction, design, and infrastructure development, both in India and globally.

The Bachelor’s in Urban Design (BUD), a five-year program, brings together the study of cities and design to address the complexities of the urban realm. The program focuses on the design of public spaces and urban systems, equipping students with the ability to analyse and shape cities through an understanding of social, cultural, economic, and political dynamics. Graduates are prepared for a wide range of career pathways, including roles in government, private practice, policy, and international development, as well as advanced academic pursuits.

Across all programs, CEPT University emphasises interdisciplinary learning through its Foundation Program, where students from different faculties train together in their first year. This shared academic grounding enables students to develop a holistic understanding of the built environment while fostering collaboration across disciplines.

Admissions to these programs are based on national-level entrance examinations, including JEE Main, NATA, and GUJCET, depending on the program and seat category.
