Ahmedabad, May 28: “Powerhouse of Gujarat” the Patidar community of Gujarat is once again in a mood to share big news for the business community of Gujarat.

Occasion is the announcement of “Desh ka EXPO”  the 4th Global Patidar Business Summit (GPBS) at Rajkot to be held during January 7 and 10 in 2024. This was informed at a press meet in Ahmedabad by Gagji Sutaria, the president of the Sardardham Public Trust, Gandhinagar.

Sutaria reiterated that “Following the humongous success of GPBS 2018, GPBS 2020 and GPBS 2022, Sardardham is organizing Global Patidar Business Summit (GPBS) 2024 at Rajkot. The Summit will be organised in a grand style during January 7 and 10 and is expected to showcase the products and services of MSMEs. It is expected to attract a footfall of over 10 lakh visitors which also include buyers and visitors from abroad. We have already roped in 75 percent of sponsors and the preparations are in full swing. We are going to stage 10 roadshows in 10 major cities of USA in order to spread awareness and invite the business enthusiast to participate as exhibitor or pay a visit as buyer at our GPBS 2024.”

Honorary Secretary of the Sardardham Trust, TG Jhalavadia informed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been inked, affiliating Sardardham with the Gujarat Government’s Kaushaliya- the Skill University. As a result we are going to start 12 courses for young boys and girls at Sardardham (10 courses will be totally free since Gujarat Government is initiating them while two yearly courses namely PG Diploma in Cyber Security and Machine Learning will be charged at a fee of Rs 25,000).

CA B K Patel, Hon Secretary of the Sardardham Trust explained that “the outreach of Summit was likely to generate enormous results for the participants even as it would provide an excellent opportunity for the business community at large and people of Gujarat to interact and witness the who is who of the industry, techniques, trends and opportunities of present times through exhibitors’ creations and well planned seminars that will be organised during the summit at the venue. We see lot of opportunities and benefits for the participants and visitors both”.                                         

The event is part of the ‘Mission 2026’ envisaged and aimed at providing an impetus towards the socio-economic development of Patidar community.

Inaugural programme is likely to be attended by the Union Minister Mansukhbhai Mandaviya, Cabinet Minister Rishikeshbhai Patel, and Cabinet Minister Balwant Singh Rajput.
