The sports girl’s journey, which began in the slum area of Sonali Park in Roorkee, culminated in a triumphant moment when she won the silver medal in Taiwan, bringing immense pride and glory to her hometown in Uttarakhand. Her trail of glory began during the selection trial in Odisha, where her exceptional skills caught the attention of national team selectors, who recognised her potential and selected her to represent India.
