Kathiawad Jain Samaj to Inaugurate Grand Upashray Complex in Bopal

On June 22, 2025, the Kathiawad Jain Samaj will inaugurate a state-of-the-art, non-sectarian Upashray complex in Bopal, Ahmedabad, coinciding with the Chaturmas Praveshotsav of Pujya Dhirgurudev. The six-storey facility includes a medical center, dharma halls, and guest accommodations. During the Chaturmas, various humanitarian initiatives—medical camps, educational drives, and de-addiction programs—will be held and broadcast on YouTube. The event will also mark the release of the spiritual lecture series Super Say Uper – Part 1.

Ahmedabad, June 19: The Kathiawad Jain Samaj, inspired by Gadipati Pujya Girishchandra Maharaj Saheb of the Gondal Sthanakwasi Sampraday, will inaugurate a newly constructed non-sectarian Upashray complex in Bopal on June 22, 2025. The grand event will coincide with the Chaturmas Praveshotsav ceremony of Pujya Shri Dhirgurudev, drawing dignitaries and Jain followers from across the country and abroad.

State-of-the-Art Complex Spanning Six Floors

Constructed on a 970-var plot near the Bopal-Ambli Crossroads, the modern complex houses:

• Veenaben Bhupatlal Khetani – Dharmanath Upashray
• Labhuben Himmatlal Kapasi – Dharma Sankul
• Dholakia Hasumatiben Popatlal – Ayambil Bhavan
• Kumudben Nyalchand Vora – Medical Center
• Two large banquet halls
• A guest house with nine AC rooms

The vision for the complex was shaped by the foresight of late Minister Maheshbhai Ambavi and guided by revered saint Dhirgurudev.

Call for Peace and Youth Empowerment

In a recent statement, Pujya Dhirgurudev paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Ahmedabad plane crash and doctors affected in the Civil Hospital incident. He urged citizens to chant for world peace, stating:

“Chanting awakens inner and outer strength. Let us all contribute to peace through our devotion.”

He also emphasized India’s youth potential:

“With 40 crore youth, if we can make them addiction-free through awareness, they can be the force behind a strong and developed India.”
