Ahmedabad, June 23: Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) launched the book “Sthitapragya: The Process of Maintaining Equilibrium”, inspired by the life of Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO of the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Authored by Dr. Mayur Shah, the book chronicles Chauhan’s inspiring journey from a small village near Ahmedabad to leading one of the world’s largest stock exchanges.

To mark the occasion, AMA hosted an interactive session on “Indian Financial Markets: Past, Present, and Future”, featuring Ashish Chauhan and renowned international tax expert and former AMA President, Mukesh Patel (Chairman at International Tax & Investment Consultants) . Both stalwarts shared insightful perspectives on market dynamics and investment strategies.

Chauhan reflected on his professional journey and the rapid evolution of India’s financial markets, revealing that transactions on Indian stock exchanges now exceed $105 million monthly. He highlighted the revolutionary impact of technology on trading, predicting a shift from microsecond to nanosecond-level speeds powered by supercomputers.
