In a major boost to youth empowerment and community-driven development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the state-of-the-art ‘Sardardham-3’ complex in Vadodara on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
Developed with an investment of approximately ₹150 crore, the ambitious project reflects Sardardham’s guiding philosophy — “Nation Building through Society Building.” The event will also be attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Minister Harsh Sanghavi, alongside prominent community leaders.
A Mega Campus Built for the Future
Spanning nearly 4.75 lakh sq. ft., Sardardham-3 is far more than a hostel—it is envisioned as a holistic growth ecosystem. At its core is a 2,000-capacity modern hostel, complemented by advanced infrastructure designed to nurture academic excellence and career readiness.
The campus features:
- A grand statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
- ‘Samaj Setu Bhavan’ as a key community landmark
- Guest house facilities for trustees and NRIs
- Library, reading halls, and dedicated study zones
- Comprehensive Career & Skill Development Hub
- Designed to prepare students for competitive and global opportunities, the facility integrates multiple specialized centers:
- GPSC/UPSC Civil Services Training Institute
- Skill Development & Subject Workshops
- Aviation, Defence, Judiciary & Sports Academies
- Startup Incubation (I-Hub) & Business Support Centers
- Additionally, the campus includes:
- Overseas Education & Hotel Management training
- Personality Development Center
- Industrial training via CED-EDI collaboration

A Landmark Event for the Patidar Community
Initiated in 2021, Sardardham-3 is the third major project by the Patidar community in Gujarat, building on the success of its earlier campuses. The inauguration is expected to witness a massive gathering of 45,000–50,000 attendees, including representatives from Patidar organizations across the state.
Leaders including Gagjibhai Sutariya, Dushyantbhai Patel, Gordhanbhai Zadafia, and Natubhai Patel confirmed that extensive arrangements have been made in accordance with Prime Ministerial protocol.
Strengthening the Education Ecosystem
Strategically located near Waghodia Crossing on NH-48, adjacent to L&T Knowledge City, the campus positions itself within Vadodara’s growing education corridor.
