Ahmedabad’s Physics Prodigies Ready to Shine on Global Stage
In an era often dominated by distractions, two focused and determined students from Ahmedabad have shown what relentless discipline, academic passion, and strong mentorship can achieve. From intense classrooms and rigorous training sessions to the world’s most competitive science arenas, two young minds from Ahmedabad are proving that dedication, discipline, and passion can create extraordinary success stories.
Svarit Joshi and Pranit Mathur, students of ALLEN Career Institute Ahmedabad, have achieved remarkable milestones in international science and mathematics Olympiads, making Gujarat and India proud.
Pranit Mathur: A Multi-Dimensional Academic Genius
- Pranit Mathur has demonstrated extraordinary brilliance across multiple academic domains, establishing himself as one of the country’s finest young Olympiad achievers.
- An INMO Awardee for 2025–26, Pranit also qualified the prestigious Zonal Informatics Olympiad (ZIO) and earned selection for the Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad. In an exceptionally rare accomplishment, he qualified for the Orientation-cum-Selection Camps (OCSC) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Astronomy.
- Despite excelling in multiple disciplines, Pranit ultimately chose to pursue Physics — a subject he describes as both “challenging and fascinating.”
- Adding to his remarkable achievements, Pranit has qualified for the global round of the Turkish International Mathematics Olympiad (TIMO). He has also been selected to represent India at the Asian Physics Olympiad, scheduled to be held in Busan, South Korea.
- Pranit has been associated with ALLEN since Class 7 and joined the Ahmedabad centre in Class 8. Faculty members describe him as a focused and exceptionally disciplined student with an unshakable commitment to excellence.

Svarit Joshi Secures Place in India’s IPhO 2026 Team
Ahmedabad’s young physics sensation Svarit Joshi has earned a coveted place in India’s elite five-member team for the prestigious International Physics Olympiad 2026.
The global Olympiad will take place from July 4 to July 12, 2026, in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
Announcing the achievement, Pankaj Baldi, Center Head of ALLEN Career Institute Ahmedabad, proudly highlighted that four out of the five students selected for the Indian team are from ALLEN.
Currently in Class 11, Svarit is among the youngest members of the national contingent and has been associated with ALLEN since Class 6.
The Tough Road to IPhO
The selection process for the International Physics Olympiad is regarded as one of the toughest academic journeys in the country:
- NSEP (Stage 1): 138 ALLEN students qualified
- INPhO (Stage 2): 20 students advanced
- OCSC (Stage 3): India’s elite training and selection camp
- Final Team: Only 5 students selected nationally, including 4 from ALLEN
Svarit’s Academic Achievements
Svarit’s academic journey reflects consistent excellence across science and mathematics competitions:
- AIR 20 in NSTSE (2022–23)
- Qualified IOQM (2023–24) and RMO (2024–25)
- Cleared NMTC prelims for three consecutive years
- Achieved Zonal Rank in VVM 2023 and reached the national camp
- Qualified NSEA in Class 10
Families Behind the Success
- The celebration event at ALLEN Career Institute Ahmedabad became even more emotional and inspiring as the proud families of both students interacted with Bilkul Online.
- Pranit’s parents, Dr. Rini Mathur and Vikas Mathur, along with his grandmothers Sudha Mathur and Usha Mathur, shared how years of disciplined education, consistency, and focused guidance shaped Pranit’s journey.
- Svarit’s parents, Mansi Joshi and Ashish Joshi, along with his grandmother Jayshree Joshi, expressed immense gratitude toward the institute and faculty members for constantly motivating and believing in the students.
- The families emphasized that both boys stayed away from distractions, negativity, and unproductive activities, remaining deeply committed to learning and self-improvement.
- They also highlighted an important realization shared by the students — that success in demanding scientific fields requires not just a sharp mind, but also strong physical fitness and immunity to handle pressure and perform consistently at the highest level.
