Marking 10 years in the music industry, Gujarati hip-hop pioneers Aghori Muzik are set to launch their ambitious new album, Welcome To Gujarat, featuring 14 tracks that blend Gujarat’s cultural heritage with contemporary hip-hop sounds. Alongside the album release, the band will announce its first-ever world tour aimed at showcasing urban Gujarati music to global audiences, particularly the Gujarati diaspora. Known for introducing the unique concept of Hip-Hop Garba, Aghori Muzik continues its mission of taking Gujarati language, culture and music to the international stage.
Celebrating a decade of redefining Gujarati urban music, Aghori Muzik is all set to launch its most ambitious project yet — the album ‘Welcome To Gujarat’, a musical tribute aimed at showcasing Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage on the global stage through a contemporary hip-hop lens.
The launch coincides with the band completing 10 successful years in the music industry, making it a landmark moment for both the group and its growing fan base. Alongside the album release, Aghori Muzik will also announce its first major world tour, designed to bring urban Gujarati hip-hop to audiences across the globe, particularly the Gujarati diaspora.
Since its inception in 2016, Aghori Muzik has emerged as one of the most influential names in regional hip-hop, producing over 100 original tracks. The band’s core members — Kruz, K.Deep, and Hard-D — independently handle songwriting, composition, vocals, and video production, giving their music a distinctive and authentic identity.
Known for pioneering the unique concept of ‘Hip-Hop Garba’, Aghori Muzik has successfully blended Gujarat’s traditional folk culture with contemporary rap and urban beats, creating a genre that resonates with audiences both in India and abroad.
The upcoming album features 14 tracks that fuse Gujarat’s diverse cultural traditions with modern Western music influences. Key songs include Hun (Lion’s Roar), Charan Kanya, Na Chhandya Hathiyar, Kutch – Chandni Ni Chadar featuring Diwaliben Ahir, Sathe Krishn, To Sheno Prashn?, Maanki, Garba Gheli, Dummar Dak-6 (Dakla), Something Tribal, Sona Vatkadi Freestyle, Juna Juna Jogi, Girni Kedi Vanki, Charaj, and the title track Welcome To Gujarat.
According to the band, the album reflects the essence of Gujarat’s traditions, spirituality, folk heritage and rural culture while presenting them through a globally appealing musical format.
Speaking about the vision behind the project, the members of Aghori Muzik said that Gujarati language and culture possess immense global appeal and deserve representation on international platforms. Through the album and the upcoming world tour, the group aims to create immersive live experiences that celebrate regional identity while connecting with audiences worldwide.
