The city that once earned global recognition as India’s textile capital has now firmly established itself as a rising fashion destination. BRDS Ahmedabad Fashion Week (AFW) 2026 concluded in grand style with its much-awaited Season 3.0 on June 6 and 7 at the Hyatt Regency, Ahmedabad, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of fashion, creativity and innovation.


The two-day extravaganza brought together acclaimed designers, jewellery brands, fashion institutions, industry leaders, influencers and fashion enthusiasts from across the country, reinforcing Ahmedabad’s growing prominence on India’s fashion map.
The runway dazzled with an eclectic blend of couture, contemporary fashion, heritage craftsmanship and experimental design. Audiences were treated to spectacular showcases by Kinjal Shilpkar with Kohira Diamonds, Manish Reshamwala with Navsachi by Umiya Jewellers, Florian Foundation and Mumbai Halchal presenting Sanam’s P, Trending Times presenting Tails & Threads Pet Couture in association with Barkville Foundation, Mivik Fabrics, Morpankha, TFF, Y Knot, Seetara by Pinkal, Little Duds Baby Boutique and several other celebrated labels.

The glamour reached its peak with the finale presentations by Meghmalhaar with Vajra Jewels and the Grand Finale featuring renowned designer duo Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna, presented by FICCI FLO in association with Carbon Jewels. Other notable showcases included Jajaabor with Sangeetha Jain Jewels and Bahaara with Samriddhi Jewels, adding elegance and sophistication to the event.
Beyond established names, AFW 2026 remained true to its commitment to nurturing future talent. Students and emerging designers from premier institutions including NIFT Gandhinagar, Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), Anant National University, Parul Institute of Design, GLS University Faculty of Design, BRDS Ahmedabad, INIFD Gandhinagar and VCD College of Design, Udaipur showcased innovative collections that reflected fresh perspectives and evolving fashion sensibilities. Such platforms are increasingly becoming launchpads for the next generation of Indian designers.
The event also highlighted the growing synergy between fashion, jewellery, sustainability, lifestyle brands and creative entrepreneurship, making it more than just a runway spectacle. Industry experts noted that fashion weeks such as AFW are helping position Ahmedabad as a serious contender in India’s fashion ecosystem, while creating opportunities for designers, artisans, models and fashion professionals.
