Sri Kalkidham Prernapeeth in Ahmedabad will host the Sri Kalki Katha and Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana from October 14 to 20, 2026, featuring discourses on Lord Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Lord Sri Mahavishnu, and the spiritual significance of the transition from Kali Yuga to Satya Yuga.

The seven-day religious programme will be held daily from 3 pm to 6 pm at Kalki Sangam Hall, Sri Kalkidham Prernapeeth, Ahmedabad.

The discourses will be delivered by Param Pujya Pandit Dr Kashinath Mishra Ji, a researcher and exponent of Jagannath culture and the Bhavishya Malika Purana. Associated with the 600-year-old Panchasakha saint tradition of Odisha, he is known for interpreting the scripture’s verses and prophetic narratives. His research in Jagannath culture and the Bhavishya Malika has also earned him an honorary doctorate.

The programme will explore themes from the Bhavishya Malika, including the decline of righteousness, changes in human values, global crises, the Kalki incarnation and the anticipated establishment of Satya Yuga. The scripture’s traditional interpretations and their relevance to contemporary challenges will form a key part of the discussions.

Other topics will include the spiritual connection between Lord Jagannath and Lord Kalki, the significance of Naam Smaran (chanting the divine name), Trikal Sandhya, recitation of the Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana, moral conduct and righteous living.

Organisers said the central message of the Katha is to encourage awareness, devotion, the preservation of Dharma and spiritual preparedness rather than fear. The sessions will also focus on the role of spiritual practices and ethical living in navigating a changing world.

The event is being organised by Sri Kalkidham Prernapeeth and the Vishwa Sanatan Dharma Seva Trust. Devotees, saints, scholars, young people and followers of Sanatan Dharma from across Gujarat have been invited to attend.
