Why it helps:
Ginger warms the body and helps with congestion, lemon provides vitamin C, and honey soothes a sore throat.
Ingredients

1 cup water

1–2 inches fresh ginger (sliced or grated)

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions

Bring the water to a boil.

Add ginger and simmer for 5–10 minutes.

Strain into a cup.

Stir in honey and lemon juice.
-
Drink warm, 1–2 times a day.
Optional boost: Add a pinch of turmeric or black pepper.
Garlic Chicken Soup
Why it helps:
Warm broth keeps you hydrated, garlic supports immunity, and steam helps clear nasal passages.
Ingredients

1 tablespoon oil

4–5 garlic cloves (minced)

1 small onion (chopped)

1 carrot (sliced)

1 cup cooked chicken (shredded)

3–4 cups chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a pot and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.

Add carrots and cook for 2–3 minutes.

Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil.

Add chicken, salt, and pepper.
-
Simmer for 10–15 minutes and serve hot.
Optional add-ins: Ginger slices, black pepper, or a squeeze of lemon.
