Juicy watermelon paired with creamy feta and a honey-chilli drizzle offers a refreshing balance of sweet, salty, and spicy notes.
This light, gourmet chaat is perfect for quick bites, combining freshness with a modern twist on traditional flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups watermelon cubes (chilled)
  • ½ cup feta cheese (crumbled)
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • Pinch of black salt

Method

  1. Arrange chilled watermelon cubes in a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle feta and mint leaves on top.
  3. Mix honey, chilli flakes, lemon juice, and salt into a dressing.
  4. Drizzle over the chaat just before serving.
  5. Toss lightly and serve immediately.

Pro Tip

Add a few toasted seeds (pumpkin/sunflower) for crunch and a gourmet touch.

Smoked Mango & Mint Chaas (Fusion Summer Cooler)

A creative twist on classic chaas—this one uses lightly smoked raw mango pulp for a tangy, earthy flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 raw mango
  • 1 cup curd (yogurt)
  • 1.5 cups cold water
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • Black salt to taste
  • Pinch of smoked paprika (optional)

Method

  1. Roast the raw mango directly on flame till slightly charred (like baingan bharta style).
  2. Peel and extract pulp, mash it well.
  3. Blend curd, water, mint, cumin, and salt until smooth.
  4. Mix in the smoked mango pulp and chill for 30 mins.
  5. Serve cold with mint garnish and a hint of paprika.

Serve in matka (clay glass) for an authentic earthy cooling effect.
