Ahmedabad, Feb 19: The 20th Annual Motif TTEC Charity Walk – 2022, one of the most anticipated events in the city’s social calendar, will take place on February 20 this year.

While its twin purposes of generating health awareness and raising funds through public participation for various NGOs remain the same, the walk will be held virtually globally this year in view of the pandemic situation. The participants can choose a route for the 5 km walk or 10 km run, anywhere in the neighbourhood or a place of their choice.

The Charity Walk started as a fun activity in 2003 but has become an important and highly awaited city event, with thousands of participants each year. It has been highly successful in meeting its objectives through the support of individual contributions and corporate sponsorships.

Over the last 19 years, the walk has had more than 85,000 participants and 271 sponsors and helped raise Rs. 8.86 crore for 62 NGOs.

“We are extremely excited and equally humbled to announce our 20th Annual Motif TTEC Charity Walk. This year marks a big milestone as we complete 20 years of our journey. It started as a small idea with friends and family. Our employees organised every single walk on their own. Our clients supported us from across the world, and most importantly, the people of Ahmedabad showered us with their love by being part of this event over the last 19 years. Kindness and giving back in everything we do is a fundamental core of what we believe in. Let us all come together to participate in the 20th Annual Motif TTEC Charity Walk and help those less privileged than us,” said Kaushal Mehta, Vice President & General Manager, India – TTEC.

The 20th edition of the Motif TTEC Charity Walk includes a 5 km walk and 10 km run, which will begin at 7:00 am on February 20. Participants can register for the walk online on Townscript and Bookmyshow. The minimum registration fee is Rs. 300. The company matches Rs. 300 for every registered participant (up to Rs. 10 lakh) plus direct contributions to the NGOs totalling over Rs. 15 lakh.
