Click Walk 2~an exhibition of photographs peeping into North East’s rich region

Realtor NK Patel’s second photography exhibition inaugurated, the photographs were taken during his visits to Northeast

Ahmedabad, April 7: An exhibition of photographs clicked by noted real estate developer and award-winning town planner NK Patel during his visits to the Northeast region, was inaugurated on Wednesday. The exhibition – ClickWalk.2 – was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Jitendranath Goswami, former Director of Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad.  The photographs span across people, culture, architecture, historical monuments, landscape, wildlife, etc. and offer a unique insight into the onto-epistemological framework of the peoples, places, and cultural products of the Northeast region.

“The Northeast region holds special importance in India. It has a cultural and historical uniqueness, a range of communities, and geographical and ecological diversity unlike any other part of the country. A lot of thought and effort went into the photos that were clicked during my multiple visits to the region. I have tried to give a unique perspective of the natural beauty and richness of the North East region. I am confident the exhibition will give the viewers a lot more than what photographs taken during travel often do,” said NK Patel.

“I would also like to thank Dr. Jitendranath Goswami for accepting my invitation. He is from Assam and is well-versed in North Eastern culture, so it is apt that he will open the exhibition” he added.

The exhibition will take place at The Art Gallery at Amdavad ni Gufa from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm till April 10.
