Ahmedabad Federation of Family Physicians Association of India hosts National Conference of Family Physicians

Ahmedabad, Jan 6: Ahmedabad unit of Federation of Family Physicians Association of India (FFPA) is hosting National Conference of Family Physicians on 7th and 8th January, 2023 at Ahmedabad Management Association.
Giving details about the National Conference, Dr Pragnesh Vachchrajani, organising secretory, said “We know that Family Physicians are very important for the society. The Covid epidemic again proved that for primary care, the Physicians are important for the society. Every country needs robust primary care. The two day National conference will reaffirm importance of Family Physicians in the society. ”
He said “More than 800 delegates across India are participating in this two day event, in which 80 plus faculties will share their knowledge. There will be Panel discussion-National Family Physician Dialogue, where in experts from various fields like media,public,government,medical council and leading family physicians across country will participate in the discussions about various issues faced by them and solutions for that.”
Dr Vachchrajani said “There will discussions on the latest medical updates in the fields of Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Cancer, Orthopedics and others at the National Conference, so that Primary care physicians will updated with knowledge.
There is also one Public Awareness programme on 7th January on Life style Disease prevention in association with Ahmedabad Management Association.”
Doctors panel which addressed the media at this occasion stated that they wanted to regain the past glory of the physicians who had a distinct and important position in the society.
